Just go for a drive! 3,283 miles later you’ll have crossed the country. They always say you should drive across the country at least once in your life, with emphasis on ONCE. If I had to I would make this drive again. I took many stops and had many unexpected experiences. I have been blessed to see so much of this vast country and I am still impressed by her beauty no matter where I go.

The Breakdown
Lodging: $90.32 – I was a super mooch
Food: $95.32
Tourist Sights: $73.82
Gas: $463.16
Total: $722.62

Oddly enough, I found that states that imposed a gas tax for road construction had worse roads. I also discovered that is possible to drive across America using no cash whatsoever.
