I am from the small town of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. I have lived here my whole life, and this country life is what I’m all about. In fact, my family has been in the area for generations. My parents even got married at the Glen Rock Mill Inn at the center of town. Her population is only 2050. It snowed the day after I got home so I got to walk around and take some snowy pictures. We have rolling hills and farm land as far as you can see. We have an active rail line to spread food packaging products. We live the help your neighbor type of life style.

Of course I got to spend time with my puppies and family! It has been a wonderful time at home!

FOODIE HIGHLIGHT!

Happy Fasnaucht Day!! The day before Lent everyone in Dutch Pennsylvania eats doughnuts. It’s part of necessity of using up all the fat and sugar in storage before Lent, ng otherwise it would have spoiled. Naturally, the best bakery is where I went. I went to Sauble’s! Its nothing fancy, but it’s a family owned grocery store that has really good baked goods. The Sour Cream Doughnuts are to die for!! The only other place O have found sour cream doughnuts out side of my town is in Lucedale, MS, but if you ever get the chance you must them!!

Stay Salty!
